What are the different styles of Silicone Self-Fusion Tape?
- TRIANGULAR GUIDELINE tape has a ridge extruded down its middle that is thicker at the apex than it is at the sides. When it is wrapped in a spiral fashion, overlapping itself and following the guideline, the end result is an even, uniform wrap.
- RECTANGULAR EXTRUSION tape is extruded in a rectangular (flat) shape and wound with easy-to-use "Hand Breakable" Mylar film between each layer.
- 3 PIECE SECTIONAL tape is excellent for electronics, the medical industry or any application requiring a thinner width tape. This tape has two unique, inverted ridges (grooves) running parallel along the length of the tape. These grooves allow you to use the tape as a whole 1" strip, or peel off one piece to use as a 1/3", two pieces to use as a 2/3" section or use the whole thing as a 1" section.
- PERFORATE tape is excellent for electronics, the medical industry or any application requiring a great release and uniform length. This tape has a perforation at designated length.
