Terms and Conditions

1. Prices

All prices are net prices quoted in U.S. dollars and do not include taxes, freight or other charges. All prices are subject to change without notice.

2. Sales Tax

All customers are responsible for payment of all applicable state and local taxes on all orders in which a sales tax exemption certification has not been provided. Sales Tax will be collected in all states Hi-Line operates within. Currently, Hi-Line operations in all states within the continental US, with the exception of North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Utah.

3. Return Policy

If customer receives a product that fails to meet their expectations, they can return the product and Hi-Line, Inc. (HI-LINE) will exchange the product or provide a refund. All returns must be in resalable condition and accompanied with a valid Hi-Line invoice.

4. Freight

The customer is responsible for pre-paying any freight costs associated with delivering the product to the specified shipping address. The prices quoted are based on F.O.B Origin, standard ground delivery terms. Hi-Line will apply sales tax to all freight and handling charges in states where such taxes are applicable. Presently, a $10.00 shipping and handling fee is collected on all orders totaling $99 or less, being shipped to a business location within the contiguous United States. For orders exceeding $100 and shipped to a business address within the contiguous United States, standard ground shipping and handling costs are covered by the seller. Additional terms and conditions may apply to various shipping methods, including freight, same-day, air, hazardous materials, buyer's carriers, a residence, shipments outside the contiguous U.S. (including APO/FPO), and other specialized handling by the carrier. Any Other Freight Charges incurred by the freight carrier must be settled by the buyer.

5. Product Warranty

A. Limited Warranty

Hi-Line warrants Products are free from any defects in material or workmanship and in conformity with any applicable specifications under normal use of product for a period of one (1) year. Such warranty only extends to the customer. Customer shall inspect Products within a reasonable time after receipt, and shall promptly notify Hi-Line of any claimed defect or nonconformity. Any Products determined to be defective in material or workmanship must be returned, with an invoice number to Hi-Line within the one-year warranty period. If Hi-Line accepts the product for return during the limited warranty, Hi-Line may elect to (i) Repair; (ii) Replace; or (iii) Refund the amount paid by the customer. This warranty shall not be applicable in the event of the misapplication or misuse of the Product by the Customer. THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES ARE IN PLACE OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED AND HI-LINE, INC. EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

B. Warranty Disclaimer

NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IS MADE BY HI-LINE, OTHER THAN WHAT IS PROVIDED IN THE ABOVE WARRANTY SECTION. HI-LINE DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR PRODUCT DEFECT CLAIMS THAT ARE DUE TO THE MISUSE, IMPROPER SELECTION OR MISAPPLICATION OF THE PRODUCT.

C. Limitations of Liability

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL HI-LINE BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES THAT RESULT FROM THE PURCHASE OF ANY PRODUCTS FROM HI-LINE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS OR INJURIES TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY, EVEN IF HI-LINE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. HI-LINE’S LIABILITY IN ALL EVENTS IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID OF THE PRODUCT THAT GIVES RISE TO ANY LIABILITY.

D. Product Selection and Suitability

Hi-Line does not guarantee compliance or suitability of the products it sells with any laws, codes or regulations. Hi-line does not accept responsibility for installation or use of a product. Review the product materials and application, relevant code, regulations, or laws to be certain that the Product, its installation, and its use comply with applicable laws. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL HI-LINE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF THE CUSTOMER’S IMPROPER SELECTION, MISAPPLICATION OR MISUSE OF A PRODUCT.

6. Governing Law

The laws of the State of Texas govern any claim relating to, and the use of, this site and the content contained herein.
